Breaking on Sprudge this morning is news of an apparent strike by the workers of Gorilla Coffee in Brooklyn’s Park Slope. Although not unionized like the workers at Ithaca’s Coffee Co, it appears that employees planned a walk-out that began last night. An interesting piece on ABC’s Nightline about Starbucks, featuring interviews with Howard Shultz. Particularly interesting to me was the contrast they made between Starbucks and Cafe Grumpy.
