A Comprehensive List of the Health Effects of Coffee

Generally speaking I don’t put much stock in reports citing the health benefits or risks of drinking coffee. The reports are usually contradicted in the following years, often more than once. But this is a nice overview of published research all on one page.

If you or I spent several decades to continue to pour billions of dollars into medical research that was inconclusive, we would be fired. For some reason, the dead-horse flogging continues on the “health effects of coffee” regardless. This despite over a millenium of epidemiological evidence to work from.

Which suggests either gross incompetency or a lack of will to kill what has been a research funding cash cow. My money is on the latter.
