Great little brewers that are perfect for traveling. 30 for $9.95 through Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters.

And here I thought only the USA celebrated the throw-away/disposable culture.

If I don’t miss my guess, the Kantan brewer is fully compostable, thus has a very limited impact on the local ecology. It weighs less than a v60, folds flat, and isn’t breakable, making it a viable option for TRAVELING. Of course it doesn’t make sense to use at your kitchen counter, but that isn’t its intention.

i grapple with the disposable part – in that I try to create the least amount of impact with coffee brewing/consuming possible. That said, I do appreciate the potential to have a good drip IF I was in a spot where I couldn’t take conventional methods. I also appreciate the design and am curious to how well that cup turns out.

We just started carrying these at dora. So far 10 g coffee works best with 175 g water. Taste is clean; though it seems gimmicky, on a camping trip these would be awesome.
