WTF Coffee Lab in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

The brand new WTF Coffee Lab in Fort Greene, BK offers what is arguably the most diverse coffee menu in NYC today. Not in terms of the coffee itself, but in the variety of brew methods available. There are actually two menus to choose from, one listing the five options of espresso based beverages available via their La Marzocco GB5, and one listing the six different methods of brewed coffee that they have (including toddy style coffee from a set of six Kyoto towers). The coffee itself comes from a single vendor, Tarrytown, NY based Coffee Labs, and although you can choose from a variety of beans for the particular brew method you’d like, a list that explains what’s available remains curiously absent.
There are no tables, no stools, no creamer station, but there are two televisions mounted up high on the ceiling. They serve soup, though there’s no menu for that either, and although there’s no pastry they intend to start producing that in-house soon.

There’s no website but they are on Twitter, where they’ve recently suggested that WTF doesn’t mean what you think it means (though of course it does, how could it not?).
