Employees Strike at Brooklyn’s Gorilla Coffee

Posted on April 10, 2010 by Mike

Breaking on Sprudge this morning is news of an apparent strike by the workers of Gorilla Coffee in Brooklyn’s Park Slope. Although not unionized like the workers at Ithaca’s Coffee Co, it appears that employees planned a walk-out that began last night.

Details are still coming in, but for more coverage see:

I was wondering if you have any updates on the working conditions at Gorilla Coffee since they reopened in April. I didn’t notice any new stories or comments on the coffee wars since that time.rnrnAre the new employees as unhappy as those that walked out? Did the walk out have any effect on the owner and her partner? rnrnThanks for any information you have.rn
