Video: Starbucks vs Gun Control in Cafe Grumpy

Posted on April 5, 2010 by Mike

An interesting piece on ABC’s Nightline about Starbucks, featuring interviews with Howard Shultz. Particularly interesting to me was the contrast they made between Starbucks and Cafe Grumpy. Starbucks and Grumpy have a little bit of history, with Shultz famously declaring that Grumpy served him “the best cup of brewed coffee I have ever tasted” shortly before he acquired the Coffee Equipment Company (manufacturers of the Clover) in 2008.

Also featured? Gun control. WTF?

Cafe Grumpy goodness starts at the 6:39 mark.
