Trouble

That’s what this guy Steve Ford is. Here he is looking suspect with our pal Chris from Cafe Grumpy. In desperation he has one of our mutual friends Gabe call me to hit me up for a place to stay during his visit East.

“Sure Gabe” I say, “anything for you. How long is he staying?”

“Oh, just a couple days” is Gabe’s response.

Well “a couple days” in California time seems to be just about a full week over here in the real world. Just about a full week of introducing NYC to a first time visitor. Cafes were crawled and pavement pounded. We even managed to pick up a few notable stragglers along the way.

Between rounds of beer and bouts of insult hurling, some serious dialogue did manage to take place. Mostly though we drank, ate, and walked. And now I have a headache.

Thanks for coming Steve, and don’t worry. What happens in NY, stays in NY.
